Student Centric Dance Programs

We’re Here to Help Your Child Discover the Joy of Dance

Motion & Music offers high-quality dance training in a child-centric studio setting. Our mission is to enrich our students’ lives through the art of dance, imaginative play and the power of creativity. We do this by focusing on each dancer’s personal development & well-being and by prioritizing performance as art & a mode of expression, over a physical competition.

By engaging students from a young age in social and physical activity, as recommended by Canada’s Long Term Athlete Development Plan, we hope to lay the foundation for a healthy, balanced lifestyle and firmly believe that dancing and the performing arts can be a catalyst for self-confidence, strong social skills and a joyfully active life.

For our families, we aim to provide you with an honest dance experience, meaning open lines of communication with our staff and directors, transparent policies and pricing, and no hidden annual membership fees (e.g. registration fee, administration fee) or expensive year end recital ticket fees.
